Does my two day old seedling need surgery

Well as the title says folks….



It has only been like this the past couple of hours, its only about an inch long ….

Should I let her be or try to pry the shell off?

Leave it for a few more hours. Slightly increasing your light/heat will help. If you pull it off you severely risk killing the seedling.

man i always remove those, and my plants grow to be fine.

yeah man, spray the seed case with water, wait a bit, then pull it off carefully, try to open the seed case up, it looks like its just hanging onto the end.

I have been known to fiddle with the babes at this age, with a pin to gently wipe that shell clear, but then again on a few occasions I wish I hadn't ...your choice ..lol

I had this happen with a few of mine. When it was good and ready to come off I helped it off. The plants then surged in green growth. Me I would wait a little and then probably just pull it off when it nice and wet.

had the same last time but it eventually popped off… just worried a little for the drooping but its on its way back….

Ill give it another couple of day… thx all…

just popped off both seeds this morning,

they fell off quite easy.. lets see tonight, get them into soil tonight or tomoz… peace…
