That heated one looks pretty nice if you start in the colder time of year, I set my seed box on top of my flouro light for this. The other one not sure, I just use the plastic domes and buy my blocks separate and water myself. I'm sure both would be fine depending on you're needs.

well all i wanna do is like guarantee my seeds get germed and start. i bought this instead for them

I start my seeds in perlite, 16oz cup (two cups, one with drainage holes cut, the other to catch last bits of runoff and protect shelf). Every fully developed seed (dark brown, hard) I've started this way has popped just fine.
