Doktor Doom - Is it possible to use too much?

Controlling spidermites is tough. Is using it daily for a period of three or four days hard on the plant?

Should it be used sparingly, or intensely until the signs of spidermites are gone?

I've never had a problem with too much DD - but does it stunt flowering or plant growth if it is used too often?
