The circuit breakers that were installed after 2008 actually worked as designed. Once the breakers were tripped, trading of the S&P 500 and NYSE exchanges were halted across the board for 15 mins. Gave everyone a chance to take a breather, and think instead of react. If you have some extra loot laying around, most stocks are extremely discounted atm and relates to a good buying opportunity for blue chip or even tech stocks. LP’s will likely never recover from the current hit, because creditors are gonna come knocking soon. They need their cash...as their own portfolios are crashing as well.

Sold out right before the recent crash, but don't think it's time to get in yet. Let's see how much of North America gets quarantined first is what I am thinking.
