fast shipping but 1 out of 5 easy ryder seeds actually germinated. i use the paper towel method and have never had problems germinating seeds this way. it's been 3 days and only one is even showing a resemblance of a taproot.

thanks dr chronic!

well it's the 5th day today. the seeds busted 2 days ago but there's still no taproot. should i plant them or wait longer?
i would have shoved them in the dirt like 5 days ago.
if i were you i would put it an inch in the dirt and wait for mother nature to do her job. it should take less then a week.

put em in tonight. about a quarter inch deep in solo cups, made sure the soil was nice and damp, and sprayed some distilled water over the top of the seed. put them under 2L bottle humidity domes and about 6 inches from a 250 HPS. if these puppies sprout ill gladly change the original post

It might have to do with the doc as well, It might be an old batch they were keeping.

It has everything to do with doc chronic... if a store doesn't stand behind there product then that store doesn't deserve my business.

dr chronic sells mad beans.. comprable to attitude, i believe. i seriously doubt he keeps very many stale beans.. and as far as stand behind their product, im sure they do. what's that based off of? did he complain to the dude.. to many variable and he said hes a newbie.. i think he downed them personally, my vote :twocents:
and its not his "product" its he just buys and sells like a middleman.

i just didn't like the dr chronic site as it was the only site that i've ever ordered beans from that right after i placed my order i got a pop up on my screen saying something to the the affect of..... you are ordering marijauna seeds, which are illegal in the us, are you sure you would like to procede with your order?... of course i clicked on the yes option, and i received my beans as well, and rather quickly too.. just the whole thing made me feel like it wasn't the most secure site out there and i have never seen this on another site..

They need to cover their asses. Most seedbanks will ignore you if you ask anything about growing the seeds.
If a cop will send them the same question and recieve a proper answer it puts them in trouble.

It is illegal. You need to know your the one to take responsibility.

Well I am a newb. But the seeds looked like shit when I got them. I've germed bagseed and never had a problem getting a root, these were all crusty when I got them. 4 did crack after 4 days, and the one that didn't I stuck in a glass of distilled water and it sank so I planted it. It's been 3 days, i've been watering with a water bottle twice a day and I have a sprout. A single sprout. I'm still watering hoping for the best, and yeah I might have had my seeds too close to my HPS. I've been running it 24/7 to keep it warm in my area, and I touched the cups today and they were kinda hot. The sprouted cup was hot too though, but it was also the one furthest from the light.

I moved them all down about 20 inches from the light, I've kept the soil moist so I don't think the heat killed them. I'm going to keep after it and if it all fails I'll still have my baby to learn from and can order more seeds.

Edit: My sprouted one is about an inch above soil already, it's just a stem. Is it normal for some to grow much more rapidly than others? This COULD be the seed that had the greatest taproot out of my seeds, there was one that was bursting more than the others. Just kinda weird to see one cup with a giant stem coming out of it and the others with nothing. It's only been 3 days though.

man I'm telling ya if anything the breeder should be sending out packages of good beans not the guy selling it to you. Check with him maybe you guys can come up with an agreement if he can confirm that these beans are all immature maybe you can both get your money back. I think that they definately go through beans fast and the stock you get is pretty fresh because whenever certain things come in they are out of stock fast and all of my beans have sprouted from him except one which was my fault and one that was very tiny, but came from a group of tiny beans so I got 2/3 which isn't his fault it's probably just the strain.

edit 2/3 on one strain I've got the rest of my beans to germ so I have 10 that germed and 1 that did not.

yeah, 92 is a bit warm.. you said how far away you had the lamp, but i didn't notice what size the lamp was... i have gone from using my hps for seedlings, and now use either my t5 or just plain old cfl's, i think they work much better for tender seedlings as they don't produce nearly the heat that hps bulbs do..
