Dr greenthumbs the best

So I see people are discussing seedbanks and I just have to say that Dr Greenthumbs was fantastic for me as a newbie grower. He recommended The Iranian auto flower for me as a first time outdoor grower and I just have to say it was a great result.

All the seeds germinated and he was right when he said 90 days start to finish and it grew past my expectations and it is more potent then what I was buying from a friend.​

I have now harvested my years worth of smoke and am very happy with the results.​

This seedbank is not as well known as some others and I found him slightly curmudgeonly when talking to him but he delivered the goods as promised.​

Yeah, Doc can be a bit gruff, but i agree with you, he certainly delivers the goods. I think he is just a very busy man and gets a little short with people cause he doesnt have enough time to deal with everybody. But...he has answered every email I sent him and you can talk to him on the phone.Cant beat that!

Ive heard good things about his cheese and Im thinking about getting it also.

His prices dont bother me because I know I'm getting quality genetics and one plant pays for it many times over.

What makes you think you cant get quality genetics for cheaper?Just asking.Because from my knowledge alot of people claim to have the exodus cut and if it all taste the same grow the same then i would go with the cheaper version.150-200 for a pack of seeds is kind of outrageous.

I dont think that, I just feel secure when ordering from the Doc because I know he has good genetics. Maybe others are just as good and cheaper, but as you said, "if" they grow and taste the same then why not. It's that big "if" that they claim to have the same cuts, maybe they do, maybe they dont. What I know about the Doc is he is considered in the top 5 breeders in the world, actually has the original cuts he claims to have, and has great service. To me and this is just an opinion, it's worth the money for peace of mind.

Having said all that i want to make sure that you dont feel I'm attacking you. You are certainly right $200 is a lot of money to pay, I'm not trying to call you out or anything like that, just stateing my opinion.

It all depend what you want. Greenthumb is well known in Canada to have very good genetic. Sometime spending couple extra bucks for something that will give you years of good result worth it. Some people wont agree with a tight budget. Don t get me wrong there is lot of seed bank who sell seeds for cheaper which are also a great choice.

Understood i just wanted to hear your opinion on thngs all cool.I have been fighting myself to spend the 150 for the bubba kush katsu cut.Maybe in the future i will.

Honestly if the only thing that hold you from ordering is insecurity , don t worry he have good shipping and also very good genetic (i do not work for him or this is not a biased opinion) i just think the guy deserve his good reputation.

Attitude also have good genetics from well known breeder for less and also have good shipping method.

dr gt is good but I have tried another breeder (alphakronic)this past summer that imo has some excellant genetics that are similar to dr gt's elite strains.
I grew them side by side and thier cheese yielded triple the wieght than dr gt's cheese.The chemdawg no comparsion alphachroics cd are gigantic and 10/10potency.I will still use the dr but for cheese,chemdawgs I will use alphachronic.The snowdawg rivals the endless sky but I favor the snowdawg taste and stone a little more.Next up is the oh zone that I plan on buying fron dr gt and the new snowdawg 2 from alphakronic

Everything and I mean everything I have ever gotten from Greenthumb has been TOP notch. I've done his Cindy99, OG Kush, Bubba Kush, Chemdawg, Cheese, Trainwreck and others...all authentic. I am doing Sour Deisel and Sour 13 right now. Don't be fooled, when Doc Greenthumb says he has the Arcata cut in seed form...he does and I know for a fact he does but as to the others I'd be very careful.

Im a believer in the Doc for sure so I want you to know that I believe what youre saying, but can you elaborate on how "you know for a fact"?
Again, Im not doubting you...Im just curious. I know very little about the origin of strains and would love to know more.

I grew docs Endless sky,the dope, and Chemdawg this year all outdoors.I find they weren't huge producers.The chemdawg buds were nice and tight but not large.The dawgs were clones from one of his seeds last year.

Grew 6 Northern lights from Nirvana.Large tight buds.Best I ever grew from seed before.Saved a few clones of them for next year.The smoke is about as potent as the docs chemdawg.
I think I'll do 10 chemdawgs of the docs from seed next summer.
