DR60 250w first grow. Some questions.

Hey folks. First time grower here and I have some questions.

Supplies I have:
DR60 Tent
4" 160CFM inline with rotary controller and ducting.
1 small oscillating fan.
On/Off Timer.
250w MH/HPS with standard wing reflector.(picking this up at store today)
Ph kit and some up/down
Half bottles of liquid carma and cal-mag plus nutes.
(I'm building a scrubber and an axial intake setup soon)

I'm keeping the tent close to a window in an AC'd room. The plan of attack is to do a super crop under a SCROG. I will clone the cropped portion if she's a she, if else, I'm ordering more seeds.

Now for some questions.
2weeks.jpg
I have a sprouted unknown kush bagseed which is 2 weeks old from germ. It's been growing on the balcony under the sun and looking healthy so far.
I'll be picking up a 250w mh/hps today and I want to move everything into the tent this evening. What kind of timing should I be giving my plant? straight to 18/6 under the MH?
Also, are the nutes I have any good? They are "hand me downs", I was told they will work very well.

Any advice is appreciated, thanks in advance, Ill keep updating.

some updates. some questions.
Everything is planted in pro-mix hp now. floranova series and coolbloom for nutes.
Big one went through a P deficiency which is stopped, fully recovered, and growing strong. Two new seedlings as well, OG and Purple Kush. The room is passive intake, 76f-80f in the day(summer). 250MH 18-6.

I want to super crop the big one. Because of the deficiency, you can see I have some bad leaves and stunted growth at the bottom.
What should I do next? should I skip the damaged node and wait for a few more nodes before I cut?
or can I cut as usual? will the weak node eventually catch up and make a cola anyway?

Thanks, ill keep more coming

Seems like a cool little set up. Def use the Karma and Flora nova together as directed, Cal-mag is only if your running distilled water, if its tap no need for it, make sure you shake the Flora Nova bottle well before you use it, its thick stuff that needs to be mixed well.

Deficiencies can a lot of the time actually be a pH problem, be sure your nute mix is between 6.3-6.8 pH before you plop it into the soil.
Leafs will typically stay damaged, you will just need new grow to replace the old so it can shrivel up and die away.
By cut are you meaning taking a cutting for a clone, or are you trying to top the plant?
Typically supercropping is just bending the top of the plant to get the bottom to catch up.

Hey, thanks. I'm proud of it, small but efficient. I'll make sure I check the PH after I mix the nutes in, I was doing ~6.5 before mixing.

I'll rephrase. I want to top the plant following uncle Ben's method. The only problem is my first two nodes are significantly smaller or dead compared to the top. Should I cut above the first two damaged/stunted nodes? or should I skip those and cut above the second healthy node? Seems to me that the lower growth is insufficient at this point.

Still learning, the plant shows signs of my mistakes here and there, but are otherwise going very strong.
I have a visitor coming on short notice tomorrow. The plants must go.
I found a place under the BBQ to hide them. Three sides are blocked off , one side is open, there will be a little shaded daylight, this is the best I can do.
In 5 days this visitor will be gone and I want to go straight to flower.

Is there anything I can/should do to help it through this interruption? thanks, more pics tonight.
