Drip/NFT or Spray/NFT???

Hey guys. I've been planning my 8' 5 rail ez clone spray mister/NFT for awhile now. Even have 100 ez clone misters on the way. But ive been thinking.. Wouldn't it be easier and more bulletproof instead of attaching misters to just drip in top feed instead. I cant see there being any difference in grow quality of the plant, expecially when using a low pressure aeroflow setup. IMO the roots are going to have just as much o2 and nutrient solution this way going into the hydroton medium. Any thoughts? Am I missing something here?

Can anyone see much of a difference between top drip and ez clone misters with a low pressure pump. I can understand a difference with high pressure aero but low pressure is just streaming on the roots, not really misting with fine microns..

Fine misters capture the oxygen molecules, using cloner nozzles at low pressure at 10-12 psi you can achieve the same results by maxing your oxygen saturation in your nutrient solution. I would suggest air injection as a mazzei air injector. I use a mazzei 1078 powered by a mag 9.5 pump in a 16 gallon reservoir. The one step doing low pressure that is over looked is using 3 way solenoids on every nozzle this insure maximum oxygen saturation during your misting times. Also by doing this you can run a closed loop system meaning your pressure pump runs 24-7. I use iwaki md30rzt pumps one pump for every 8 - 0.60 orfice cloner nozzles this achieves a constant pressure of 12 psi. Using cloner nozzles vs say 0.15 misting nozzles cloner nozzles do not clog as easy I would also suggest using 100 mesh filter screens at your drains before nutrients enter your reservoir I use some that sit inside a cut down 5 gallon buckets that sit in my reservoir. I use 6" square tubes they work the best also I use egg crate covered in silk screen in the bottom of my tubes this allows a place for roots to sit and also gives drainage and holds oxygen. Just remember it's all about how much oxygen you can achieve and deliver.....
