I fucked up I know but...

I got pulled over with a suspended licenses.

In May i forgot to pay a fine for not having my licenses on me and eventually it suspended my licenses.

I knew the licenses was suspended and the MVA had already taken it, however it was thanksgiving and I couldnt get a ride.

I got pulled over for speeding (i know i know but i was late)

The cop was cool, i told him i didnt have my licenses, he said 'i should take you to jail but your honesty saved you'

Turns out my Registration was expired as well.

I paid the speeding fine and registration fine but I got 2 trial dates, driving under suspension and driving on expired registration while suspended.

Ive been looking up and down on the Maryland website and it doesnt have the answer for my exact scenario.

As anyone experienced this? do i have to go to the trials to get my licenses back? or should i be able to go get my licenses and just drive until the trial?

Trolls stay out, im just looking for some experienced incite. People fuck up it happens.

In Washington you can go to dol.wa.gov or something like that?
Anyway find the link that says how to reinstate a suspended or revoked license (again I dont know the exact wording)
Then you will enter your name, D.O.B
LIC# and the last 4 of your SS#
Then you should see the status of your LIC and what is required to reinstate.

Not sure if you can do that in your state but I would think it is pretty standard

it depends on the county as well.. I did work for the local court house for about 15 years spent many a time talking with people trying to get their d.ls back.

If you forgot to pay the fine you mor the likley have a FTP hold on the lic so you will need to pay the fine in full + any civil assessment fees that have been added... if it's a FTA hold then you need to appear and if your county allows you can sign a plea to pay... agreeing to pay the fine in a guilty plea (not paying this later on can result in the ftp hold being added)

normally if you get your vehicle registered before the court date, that charge will be dropped no questions ask. I have had it happen with both a car and a boat. got a ticket each time, and showed up to court with my registration in hand, they took one look and said have a nice day. as for the license i got no idea.

true it's a fix it ticket here in this county it means get it fixed show any officer have them sign it off then submit ticket and 10$ to courts (most people screw up and dont pay the 10$ nulling the signed ticket and then the courts can add an assessment fee of 310.00 ontop of this.)
