This is a little experiment w/ growing - wasn't really planning to make it all the way to flowering just yet but wanted to get a feel for things to come. Here is a plant that is currently growing but seems to have started to die(?). My lights are about 3-4" above the plant, I have 4 5500k 27W CFLs and 2 2700k 23W Bulbs on the one plant. Ive had them lower on another learning expierence but they seemed to burn the leaves. Any advice would be great!

Could be too much water causing damping off. Imo you need to get 6500k bulbs for veg..Too much light for the lil guys/gals. When that small they don't need as much light as they are tender..Reuce amount of light, and less water. Don't water until top of soil is dry, then only about an oz in those cups, checking often. You'll be able to tell when water needed once you get the feel for the weight when watered.

Yeah, too much light. That little guy really only need 1 27 W at 6500K. Add a light every week or two until you have the plant covered in 150W... I know, seems like way too much, but you will be rewarded with nice juiicy fruit.
