Droopy leaves

Hey guys,

A few days ago I trimmed off some fan leaves and watered him, but now his leaves are really droopy. Am I overwatering? Also, I noticed there’s no water dripping into the pan, could it be a drainage issue? His stem looks pretty healthy I think

I transplanted about a week ago, some of the fan leaves had spots on them and crinkled up so I trimmed them off, then he looked very very healthy for 3 days. I watered him yesterday and now today he’s looking droopy.. Is perlite a mineral I should get?

No it's like this stuff you add to soil to make it drain good. It's like consistency of kitty litter like but since you already transplanted I would wait till gets roots good then add that to final pot of soil you use or just buy a good soil like fox farms and see if has perlite in will say so. If droopy after a week think to wet and put under grow light and should come back.

It will come back it's in vegetative stage you're okay just light schedule is for flowering. You want more hours for veg if not a auto flowering strains

Unless your trying to flower the plant despite the ongoing issues you need to get the light schedule back to 18 hrs on. Is this a fem? photo? Auto? Regular seed?

You need to be watering all of your medium, not just the top hall inch or so. She's dying.

oh noooooooooooo, i am definitely having trouble figuring out how much water to give :(
In the pic the soil looks very wet. Feel the weight of the pot. You need to let it dry out till the soil feels dry and the pot feels light. A pot that small should be around 3 days or so. When you water, dispense your water slow and evenly till you see some run off coming out of the bottom. From there you should be able to get a feel of what the plant wants. Leave lights on for 18 hrs till your ready to flower

thank you so much!!!!! this is my first time growing so i am kinda learning as i go

I use the lift method to gauge water needs. Repot, soak medium and pick it up.. remember that weight. When it's much lighter..time to water. Simple.

New growers often over water. Your plant will let you know right away with poor growth or vigor. Droopy sad leaves are a dead giveaway. Ya may even find dark brown spots develop on the fan leaves. Ya want them leaves...praying as we call it. Reaching for the light like they can't get enough.

I'm assuming this is a girl. You refer to it as him and he in your first message .lol.
