Ok heres the scoop, everything was fine in my veg/clone room for about 4 months, had no prob with clones, no prob with gettting my moms going, everything was just fine.

But for the last 2 weeks ihave been having alot of problems with my clones, I bought a Jack herer clone that was in dirt and about a week old, i transplanted her into my hydro setup and it never took off, the Jack has been the start o the problems for all my other plants as well.

When i put jack into the mix after about a week it started sexing, and getting white spots all over it and the some of the leaves turned yellow with brown spots on it, it has seemed to spread to other clones. They have not started sexing just getting the same white spots and having droppy leaves with yellow and brown spots.

I want to fix it for sure, if it means getting rid of jack no problem, i just want to know what todo i have cleaned changed water cleaned changed water, checked Ph, i am just at a loss here.

Jack is 30 days old and is small small like 7inch tall small, cant even clone her! Is it possible that it is a runt that will never go?

Can it have a problem that is spreading to my other clones?
What are the White spots?
Why are my leaves dropy and yellow with brown spots?

Any help to what is going on will be most most most appreciated and i will give +rep for all the answers and help.

here are pics of jack and other clones, I have 4 diffrent kinds going but just the 1 jack plant i have is sexing and causing the damage.

Whats your PH and ppm. Do you have pictures of these white spots ? How did you go about puting the herer clone into your setup ? Do you know what powder mildew is (if so was it on the herer did it spread?) Have you changed out and flushed your nutes ? Ask the grower where he got his soil from and if he had any problems with his other clones. Those roots look REALLY brown.

the roots are brown because i am using nutes that are brown and a plant soluble for roots that is premium mycorrhizae which is almost like coal ground up. Ph 5.5 ppm is fine, cant talk to the guy got the clone from dont know him, like i put in above i have changed and cleaned changed and clean never change nutes in the middle of any plant grow. Look i am looking for some advise from people that know more than me, the things you are asking are explained pretty much above, and you look with your 13 posts not to have much experience so if you dont know dont say. I took the jack outa the soil cleaned roots and placed into my clone/veg room, like i said she just never took off and started sexing in 18/6. So i am still looking for help anyone?

Mix some nutrients at 1/4 strength with a drop of dish soap and spray it on the leafs. You might try some liquid seaweed I use maxi crop. And if I'm wrong your plants will still die. Just my opinion Good luck

I think you have more than one deficiency. If you look at pic #6, the yellow spots on the left leaf look like calcium def, and the leaf to the right of it looks like nitrogen def. lol. What nutes you feeding it exactly? Show us a link to the product. Pretty tough to tell if you have root rot when the nutes stain em brown like that. Are they slimy? I really think you should switch your nutes to something a little more typical like GH 3 part or something just to eliminate the nutrient factor and see if there is any change (Im sure there would be, your roots will be a nice healthy white and easier to diagnose for one!).

ty ty for the advise but i have not given them much nutes, I think i tracked the problem down to me giving the magi cal to early and at full strength, i also think alot of it was the nute switch that jack indored when she got transplanted, i have no idea what nutes she was

on befor i got her, why would it be sexing like crazy? the roots are not slimy they look and feel healthy even tho the look like a big pile of shit. I only use BC nutes, never had any probs before, and when i start giving them nutes they onnly get maybe, maybe a 1/4 at that, i

use 2.5ml of thrive alive b1 red, 2.5ml of magi cal, a tiny bit of BC grow, BC boost, and sugar daddy, the boost grow and daddy all go in about 1/5 to 1/8 stregth at the start. I have gone through 2 hole cycles with BC and have mothers and clones using the BC products, to

be honest i swear by them, but ne way heres some pics of what makes the roots so brown and the other stuff i use, also this is why i like BC Nutes some pics of my first hydro grow just some backing proof for BC nutes but i dont know why im asking.

I am curious where does root rot come from and how do you fix it?

Just a shoot in the dark but it could be stress transfer. plants send signals to each other and the jack could have sent a flowering signal out because it was stressed and light deprived for a time. Thats just my opinion. I hope it helps. good luck

thanks guys alot, this is what i have decided to do. I am going to cut jack at the base and try to reroot her, i am going to move the other two that look to be sick into there own tubs with no nutes just 5.5 water and watch what they do. I do think jack got pulled outa 18-6 or 24 or what ever the last grower had it under, and it took me three days to get her in my hands, by that time who knows what my buddy did to it durring that time, he got it for me was 35$ and it has not grew 2 inch's in 36 days lol. So i will try to give it a fresh start like a new clone, but its going to kill it plus with ALL the pistols showing it isnt going to be pretty, but i will have some fun with her and see what i can do, just defore i got my hands dirty figured id ask RIU. Thanks again for trying guys, guess its just one of them things lol fucking weeds ahahaha

If you took a plant (roots not completely cleaned) from soil and put it into an aerated bath with myco fungi in it you probably got some bad bacteria or nematode to grow out of control unhindered by it's natural predators. Soil has balance to it, if you take the balances away, think of dropping a pregnant rat into a room full of cheese.

In the future, DO NOT drop a soil plant straight into a hydro res. Make a transitory bath to drop the netpot in until the soil plant starts to thrive. Then transfer after the roots show that they can do their job and have adjusted with no pathogens, bacteria, mold or parasites to spread to other plants. It still won't be 100% since your soil plant could be resistant to whatever it is transmitting but it's a hell of a lot better to give the plants that buffer from diseases.

Good luck. And..oh, LOL@stress transfer!
