Drought and my first upcoming Oz guerilla

Hey guys here on the east coast of Australia we are looking at 3 months drought up until the start of the outdoor season. What does this mean? I've prepped some soil and now the bacteria will stay dormant until wet? Maybe I shouldn't water at all. But there is horse manure in there also. So it may activate the bacteria. And will hold moisture well. Anyway. It's my first outdoor Guerilla. Im Gonna try the wicking watering method from a container to keep the soil moist through the season. I'm a little confused however as to when to start them. I used to start sativas early in August. And they would just keep vegging through for 8ft plants. If I was going from clones with limited seed stock how would I approach that? Working with early flowering sativa dominant hybrids? Thanks and happy toking

PS I just realised that I put slow release (6 month) fertilizer in the bottom. Maybe it a good thing if it doesn't rain and start leaching that. Until its needed. Bacteria can be added back anytime....

Getting a kick early start I see. If height is an issue have you considered LST or scrog? I had all my seedlings die from a bad case of root rot and a friend gifted me a few clones. I cloned those to make up for my lost seedlings. I love the way plants grow from seed though. Nothing like it.

Had to make sure my partner was keen.
If it was gonna be a wet few months I may have occupied the area with some vegged inside. But with this drought ahead I may just let the ground fizzle. I also assumed there's no way anyone else should run into us with the same train of thought if we get out there early haha considering we had to find a new spot.
I hate root rot. I get it bad. And the only way for me to raise seedling without damping off. Is with chlorinated tap water. Since they don't need nutes they don't need PhD water. So I water them till they devoured the starter leaves then water as normal. I find it's a slower start then a healthy gardens seedling. But 99% success rate now. And I say that coz I haven't lost one yet. But I haven't grown 100 I tested running one with weak ewc tea only and dechlored water. It started falling over so I hit it with tap water for a few days. And recovered it. Damping off is easy to recover if hit at the right time. Just run the tap for a while. Then fill a container and smell it. Make sure it has chlorine with the nose test
I never even thought about lst or scrog. I will do alot of tipping though. I won't have much time out there. But the ussuall fortnight watering.

Forgot to mention. No heights not a issue. The bigger the better
I'll plant accordingly. Smaller growing strains in lower fields. Taller. In fields with taller surroundings.

Did your outdoor grow survive the summer peyote, cause mine were doing badly through summer then got obliterated by that one 47 degree day.
