dry browning leaves on bud

hi all i have bin growing lr 2 its in the ninth week and they look ready all bar only half trichs r cloudy. will post pics l8r jus need 2 take off phone:) been flushing for 1an half weeks leaves r yellow an see through but trichs not ready. i have 4 on the go and on my biggest cola the bud leaves have turned brown all the way back into the middle of bud site ,, not all of them but obviously not good!! i have been feeding vita link bloom an boost under 250w hps with fan temp 25-28c humid 50% up till last 2 weeks where jus bin water i expected leaves to turn yellow but not die,, i have chopped the top bud off and the others are ok wat u think caused it or is this jus the way it goes sometimes,,, i always thought the trichs all go amber b4 leaves die off any input appreciated

has no one encountered this before,, im worried that my others will go the same way before the trichs all turn cloudy/amber

the bud is changing colors to right???? if so than u have bud mold or ur buds are rotting u might have to chop the bad bud off befor it spreads to the other ones

at 1st glance it looks like your very close to harvest time, and thats just something that happens (fan leaves yellowing and falling off)...

best of luck and at this stage of the game theres not much you can do..

thanx for the replys i have taken the top cola off and will keep an eye on the rest just a shame it happenend so close to ripeness trichs are jus turning cloudy,, ah well i ll have summit to smoke stop me chopping the others early cheers again

Some strains don't even go cloudy or show amber qualities. If you have good flower development;then I would take a bed sample and dry to smoke to see if that's the type of high I want.

i never knew that i thought all strains turned cloudy, well maybe the one i had 2 chop will smoke ok fingers crossed jus waitin for it 2 dry noe lol

if youre flushing in your final week or two, then most likey the leaves are turning yellow because its used up all its nutes and ready to be harvested soon. good luck!

Yeah that was definitely mold. But if you remove it quick enough it shouldn't spread. Make sure you have a good fan. The tighter the buds the more you have to watch out for mold.

the bud i cut off shud i cut all the moldy bits out or leave till its dry i have it hanging upside down at mo with fan in the room not pointed at it but circulating air,, im thinking maybe chop the cola into pieces and get rid of the shit then maybe will dry quicker an hence less chance of mold spreading ?????? cheers 4 ya help

GET RID OF THE MOLD PERIOD the mld produces mold spores and can spread to wat ever toher plants are nearby get rid of all of it and ull be fine good luck

try and chop all the moldy weed out. The rest of the plant should be ok, just keep a close eye on it.If you have to just remove that whole cola. Take the bad moldy part out and you can dry the rest. You just want to be sure not to smoke any of the moldy stuff. I've used it for making green dragon and it seems to be ok.

this seconed pic is the one that showes some kind of mold small flys did this to me i just killed them with powder and sticky paper.

your bud is rotting with some orgnizum growing chop that bud and cut out the mold wether you smoke that part is on you.

When I first read his post, I thought.. Hmm this is normal, My leafs turn fellow also. But look at his second photo. The bud itself is turning black. NOT GOOD.

thanx for the replys that mouldy bud is chopped up now and the moldy bits are gone,, wat a shitter im only left with bout a 16th from a fat cola still the others seem to be ok so fingers crossed,, the other thing thats bothering me is im on 9 1/2 weeks now 9 is sposed 2 b done and all leaves are yellow and floppy and theres no new growth and it looks ready to chop but still the trichs are majority clear.. someone said that not all strains show cloudy/amber trichs at the end of flower, is this true??
