drying advice needed

What up guys,
I've just harvested one of my auto flowering purple cheese plants and im using a cardboard box to tell them dry while hanging up side down. The thing i want to know is that you move ur havest to jars once the buds have dryed and the stems crack but not crumble and really dry but my problem is that some of the stems are really fat and even though the buds r drying and some parts feel real dryish' they been in my box for 3 days come the morning. Im not in a rush to dry them but i dont want to let them dry out complately before i move them to jars, i'd be real thankful if u guys can give me something to go on. Thanks guys scunk

Toss it in jars and keep a close eye on it. If you see ANY condensation inside the jar, remove the buds and put them on a drying rack or in a paper bag for a little longer. Then return to jar and check for condensation. If none, cure as normal.

I'm basically paraphrasing what Jorge Cervantes says in his Marijuana Horticulture book.

I yell at them DRY BITCHES usually works great! Ive learned over the years just telling them isn't enough.

i've got a desk fan in the room by my box but not blowing any direct air on them, its there just to keep the air moving around

Whats the longest they should be left in the box drying defore u should put into jars, but in saying that its just gonna take as long as it takes, no two plants are the same. Thanks guys

I used to hang em' in the dark w/a 6" fan until the stem was "cracky" not "snappy" and then stick in my jars for 30 days, burping once a day....but this last cure I took them when the buds started feeling dry and I still have it in jars for 45 days now...it's a lil moist still, but burns well in a vap, and it's smooth...they say the longer the cure the smoother the smoke...IDK...mine's an OG #18 so I think genetics has alot to play personally...good luck and damn put up some bud porn next time will ya...lol...here I'll throw my lastest grow and last cure..:bigjoint:

Riknstein i just try'd adding rep to u coz imo your a growing god from your pictures plus the info you give as you really know your stuff, it wouldnt let me add rep it said something about spreading some around, so i liked it instead lol thanks guys

haha thanks skunk, ya they must be doin maintenance on the server...lol..I don't know about a growing god but I do have a green thumb and love to research new things...not to mention I have my wife and her sister living here to help with the upkeep :clap:

I was just woundring whats the best amount of time to burp the jars for? I understand you burp them once aday' have the jars got to be kept dark or just out of direct light? I've read so much about this and theres so many different ways that its confused the crap out of me and now my minds as if its blank and dont know what to do now lol thanks guys scunk

i just open them all up, gently move the contents around a bit and seal them up again after a few minutes. everybody has their own way.

most work fine.

I was told to burp my jars for a minute aday will this be enough? I read that its got nothing to do with how long the jars are open for, its just exchanging the air is that right?

^^ good but dont use a fan on um better to dry slow
found the longer time spent on dry and cure the better da smoke
never rush things
dry should be 5 days to a week cure at least twp weeks
unless you need s smoke fix
sum cure for a month​
