Drying/curing big buds question

Hi all. New grower getting ready to chop my 2nd batch of autoflowers in the next week or two, and I wanted to ask opinions on drying/curing large buds. One of these ladies, Emily, (which was supposed to be Sweet Tooth but smells and looks way more like GG to me and is nothing like the other sweet tooth plant in look or smell) has a really thick, fat top (see pic). I am concerned because my drying area is fairly dry (~30% RH even with a humidifier in the frozen north country) and I don't want the outside to dry too fast while the inside remains very wet. When you all are drying/curing do you leave those whoppers whole or break them into the smaller individual flowers? It is such a pretty bud I don't want to break it up, although like a good steak - it all ends up broken up eventually...
Thanks

Leave the entire plant whole if you can. Trim off every leaf that has no visible trichomes on it and cut the main stem just once at the base. Hang it up for a week or so; its almost impossible to overdry your bud this way.
Jar the buds when the stems audibly snap when bent over; if it creases without snapping its not done drying yet. Once it's fully dry you can finish trimming off the sugar leaf and break down the big colas into smaller nuggets. Leave the lid on the jar kinda loose for the first 24 hrs to be sure you didn't jar too early. Next day put your face in the jar and draw deep; if it smells like hay you fucked up and jarred it too early. If it smells like dank ass weed you are good to seal up the jars and continue curing as desired.

larger the plant when drying the better..... at least from MHO. Rushed the first plant and tried to "wet trim" never did it again.

Thanks guys. Also, if anyone has any idea what type of plant it is, I'd appreciate it. It looks and smells like GG to me but I've only seen pics of the gg plant and have smoked the dried flower so I am not sure by any means. I know it's not NLxBB, amnesia, sweet tooth, white widow or cheese since I've grown those before and know what they look like. Here's another pic:IMG_20191215_161411.jpg

Just a SWAG here - but it could be a Diesel variety of some kind. The buds and fans look a lot like the Red Diesel I've got going. But it's really hard to know for certain.
