Drying harvest in dry climate

Hey all,

It’s that time, time to harvest. We live in Denver, where it’s extremely dry normally, and it’s extra dry in our house because of the heat running.

My question is, is there anything I can do to make sure my harvest doesn’t dry too fast?

I’m thinking about leaving more of the sugar leaves on, leaving all buds attached to the main stem, and maybe moving to jars after only a day or so? They will be hanging in a bathroom with a toilet (clean), so hopefully that will help keep the humidity at a decent level. I just don’t want to ruin my harvest because it dried too fast.

Any suggestions? Thanks!!

The shower head would work if you needed humidity.

Reality dictates so if hanging tge whole plant is the way you have to go then do it.

Wet towels, a fan blowing across a tub full of water, whatever
Just make it happen

I doubt it will if you hang it whole. Tape off your house duct. Keep your hygrometer in there. You create more work for yourself if you jar them early, having to open them more frequently. Place your hygrometer somewhere so you can easily see with the door cracked. That if its prime you dont bellow the room with a big door swing.

If you can manage between 60-65f and 50-60% humidity that’s the slow dry right there and it will preserve terps and do a good job at breaking down chlorophyll!! To achieve that temp you may need ac or a indirect fan, and either a humidifier or lots of wet towels as some state, wouldn’t suggest making steam with the shower though :/

Humidifier.
Available at every drug store, big box, online, amazon, walmart, in all different sizes from
20 bucks to 200, from simple desk top atomizers to larger floor units.

drying in a bathroom, jarring wet weed, adding carrots, leaving the toilet bowl open=ILL

control a small space like a box, tote, tent or room if needed and no tricks are needed.
air flow/exchange, RH, temps, no biggy really in a small space. good luck
