if they are drying too fast because of the humidity, you can use brown paper bags to slow down the drying even more. Works great. you don't want them to get too dry, or they lose most of the smell and taste, and it won't ever come back. Slow is the key! I rotated between the jars and paper bags during the end of the 'dry' before I could leave them in the jars with a boveda 62 humidity pack, and the humidity would stay at 62 or slightly below. each jar had a $4 hygrometer I got on ebay. When they are stable between 58-62% in the jars, they are pretty much done and can be smoked and enjoyed. I have some in jars that have not been opened for 2 months. They have been stable at 60% the entire time. The smell and taste are FN Amazing. All my grower friends are jealous. You use 1 8g pack per oz, and I like to use a little more than an oz per pack so the humidity is closer to 58%. My big jars have 2-3 packs in them. When you are drying them out and you stick them in a jar if the humidity in that jar is below say 51%, then it's too dry and adding a humidity pack will only make it wet, it won't actually 'cure'. The tips are fried and it cannot dry properly (from the inside out). jars and paper bags until you can jar it and it stays at or slightly below 62% w/ a Boveda pack. Winner every time.
