drying time?

i have read you should dry from 5 to 7 days. but my bud drys in about 3 to 4 days tops. should i let it keep drying. does that make the bud stronger? dont really know how many days of drying it takes for the thc to become active. any help would be great

its not just drying u need to seal the buds in an airtight jar and put em in the dark for a few weeks while opening it up every day for the 1st week or so to air them out a lil the curing stage is what gives it that strong smell smooth and tasty smoke not to mention activates the thc and whatnot u dont just hang it to dry u have to cure it after hanging...

Thats about right. I hang till the buds are dry 3-5 days 75 deg at 40% humidity. jar and seal. check daily for moisture build up on the glass. I open and air out jars untill no more moisture about 3 days. Then seal and put in a dark area for about 2-3 weeks.
