DS800w solarstorm 800w or blackstar 800w?

anyone used any of these? they seem to be the most talked about and most expensive? blackstar doesn't look as good though.

I run a 200w diamond series and love it. Would love to try out the 800w. I'd roll with that or the solarstorm, which is really slightly over 600w pull. The blackstars just don't appeal to me, but the new chrome models might change my mind.

ah im really keen on the solarstorm but havnt heard to much reviews on it. could be a shit light for all i know lol. diamond series only uses 3w leds right?

oh shit diamond series led company are declining interviews lol.. guess its the solarstorm, aparently it pulls 690watts with everything on. so i guess thats not to bad if ur getting 1gp/w or more. planning to run it in a dr120 II so wish me luck will let everyone know how it goes..

Good luck man. I've seen some great looking buds grown with a solarstorm in some journals online. I'll shoot you the link. I kind of want one too haha! It would be one of my top choices if I wanted to buy a new light. See if you can get on their grower feedback program and get the light for a discount.

thanks man. i wasn't able to find any journals, i dont think im that keen to upload my grow online though lol. not keen on getting snapped :)

i have great luck with the 900 watt blackstars. There are several other guys in other threads and on other sites that have successful grows with them.

haha thats good to hear! i think if i get the solarstorm it should pay itselfs off in yeild after a little while. better penetration too. i was gunna try out those autoflowering seeds in air pots. dunno how that will go tho
