Whatup homies! This year will be my "first grow-op". Last year I tended to a friend while he had an excellent yield with only 5 femmed Big Bud seeds.
While i did learn a LOT from my him, he didn't go into a whole lot of specifics with me as i now regret. (specifics such as soil/ferts used). I mainly learned how to germinate, transplant, how to sex, and how to harvest, you know..the basics so im still pretty vulnerable to mistakes for this season
I really don't consider last year as MY grow season, so i will be doing everything MYSELF this year in order to get a first grow under my very large belt. My friend has moved on to college which makes communication an issue, i would like as many comments about my growing style as possible
This is what i have planned thus far:
right now i have 25 big bud seeds are in baggie with a bright green banana (to try and to induce fem's). They will be in this baggie with a rotated green banana for about 1 month where i will then begin germination.
Question #1: Once i have my seeds germinated using the "wet paper towel" technique, does it technically matter if the dirt these germinated seeds go into is regular black top soil i dig out of my plots? or should i get some store bought soil for these little guys? either way they will be started out in starter cups and transplanted to my sites when they are about 7" tall.
O.K so i have 5 safe sites with 25 Big Bud seeds. I am planning on digging 5 holes at each site this weekend and placing Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix in these holes.
I will be fertilizing with Miracle-Gro for Tomato's while in the vegetative stage and Miracle-Gro Bloom Booster for the flowering stage.
I am using miracle-gro products because of the lack of options i have where i live and i can't purchase many products off the internet because im still living with my family.
Any thoughts? Opinions? Suggestions?
Anything will be MUCH appreciated homies
