So here is the start of my new grow ( any input, comments, ideas, etc.. are always welcomed )
I'm sure I'll have questions along the way.

Okay so that's the set up, The seeds were planted roughly 14 days ago, they are under the t5's ( 18-6 lighting) I plan on vegging
them in that tent until they out grow it then transferring them to the flower tent putting them under the 600 HPS for 18-6 for a week I'd say, then changing them to 12-12. I gave them the recommended seedling feeding last week, I'm going to give them another feeding today.

( pictures will be up today of current status )

Thanks!!

14 days, gave them a small feeding today:
Temperature is a little higher then normal, not sure why.. never had an issue with it, could be the cheapo plastic thermometer..

Will also attempt to clone them later, I fail at it usually lol. What does everyone use for cloning set ups? I was thinking of getting that bucket set up from htg and just running 1 cfl on top of them...

I had great luck with the bucket setup. I eventually got a 30-site EZ Clone. That works great also.

I am not growing the Blue Widow currently, but I did for about a year. It was a freebie from Attitude. I liked it. I just had to thin out the strains I had going and I had some that beat it out. Nice fat, tight nugs as I recall.

If you decide to get a bucket setup, invest in the large net for the pump. Debris will end up clogging the sprayer otherwise. Also you can cut a piece of bamboo or dowel just long enough to fit snugly across the diameter of the inside of the bucket, a couple inches below the sprayer. Use a twist-tie to secure the pump stem to the bamboo and you can secure it right in the middle.

Nice setup!

Hi Dubba,
Looking forward to seeing your thread. I haven't been on much as of late, but will check in every now and then.
Hey Guys, Do they aerocloners really make a big difference. My clones are always struggling to survive. I started them in clear plastic cups, but have changed to the red cups.
I am thinking about picking up a clone machine from the urban garden shop in brewer.
BTW they are really nice guys and have all kinds of cool stuff. They are located next to Goodwill on Wilson street down past Mardens. Just like the old candy store. XD XD

For clones, try rapid rooters, or a similar product, in a grow tray with a humidome.

I get about a 95% success rate.

Cloners speed up the process.....and are less stress than other ways of cloning, like the process you mentioned. However, i use the solo cups filled with pro-mix to put cuttings in and have very good luck. Under the humidity dome till i see roots have formed....

which humidity dome do you use, do you spray the dome with water? ( mist effect) do you just wet the rapid roots and set them in, what type of lighting and schedule,

If you do decide to go with a bucket cloner setup I would suggest adding a cheap aquarium bubbler. I had planned to do that but got an EZ Clone instead.

nope
essentially you buy the components: pump, stem, bucket, lid, sprayer..for about $50. Net would be extra, I think. But it definitely doesn't come with a bubbler. Just a pump with a line stuck into the water would suffice I would think.

Yup, that's what I had in mind. Just run a line off it and let it bubble in the water. That's what the EZ Clone does basically. Absolutely run it 24x7, pumps and lights. If you use the net you shouldn't have any problems with the sprayer getting clogged, but then the suction cups on the pump can't do their thing which is why you need the stabilizer I described. Keep an eye out for wilting. They'll wilt pretty quickly if the sprayer stops.
Be prepared to change out the water if it gets too hot. With the bucket setup it wouldn't be hard, just a couple gallons. Put Clonex solution in the water per label.

I use a tall humidity dome that has 2 vents on top. I find there is no need to "mist" plants if the vents are closed. Thats me. I take the cover off for a couple minutes a day to freshen the air. The clones are under 150 hps because thats what was kicking around, and it works well. CFL's or m/h would work too. They don't need a ton of light, especially before rooting. 18-24 hrs light is good.

so, 1 cfl would work for say a 5 gallon bucket...5 site bucket cloner, running the pump etc 24/7?

Oh yes.. new update on the plants, they look great... I just transferred them to 1 gallon buckets, they were root bound in the pots from the first post but otherwise then that the plants are very healthy, green as green can be... hoping it continues
