Reverse osmosis water, i heard its the best to use to grow, currently using tap water, how the hell do i get the RO water?
Just use your tap water, Create a reservoir if you haven't already. Add a airpump with a airstone at the end of the line, drop it in the reservoir, let it sit about 48 hours and your ready to water. Refill the reservoir after each watering and allow the fresh tap water to sit again before the next watering.
Yes,comes with everything to hook it up, I suggest you get a plastic shut-off valve, the one they give you that attaches to the water inlet isn't good to keep opening and closing.on http://www.purewaterclub.com they have one ro system for "hydro plants" is this system good enough and come with all the parts to hook up and use in my home?
well im growing hydro ponicly so water is one of my most important things to worry about
I bow to your wisdom........well said.......I have always used straight tap water in soil, and hydro. and never had any problem.
I don't let it sit for a day, or worry about chlorine, I only adjust PH in hydro, not in soil.
It seems to me if you look around this site that the folks with problems are the ones who get carried away with trying to change / control everything.
And tap water generally will give you a much more stable pH over R/O water....plenty of hydro growers use water straight from the tap with no problems. if it's safe enough to drink it's safe enough to grow with.
