Dumbass in Need of Assistance!

I've never grown Autos before but I don't think they're that far off, if any. Seeds grow slower than clones. I thought the same thing because its been a while since i've grown.

The only thing i see is what looks like first signs of nute burn or possibly a ph problem. How close are the lights? Once the seeds are fairly strong (like 2 weeks) i would drop that light in 3in increments a day until they're roughly 8-12in from the tops. Keep in mind the heat as well

Thanks irollfatties, yes the lights where like 10 in. away raised to 14 in. for now...P.S. luv the shot of arnold . I think i over fed plants to flushed some nutes out and gonna make a reflective gro box around plants thanks again for support.

I'm no pot doc....so maybe a more experienced member can chime in...but.....Looks like in some of your pics there you have burn at the tips of your leaves, may wanna check your nute levels...other than that the looked pretty healthy to me...if you ballast is switchable MH is better for veg!

Ouch, no chitting on MH better for veg ? read around and heard opposite, yes ballast is switchable and i do have a 400 watt. MH bulb. Should i switch now or just go threw this grow like it is ? either or thanks, legalizeitcanada.

switch to MH now until the end of veg and when you switch over to 12/12 swap the bulb to HPS as well

Ya i would switch now and like I said, check your nute levels cause it looks like you may be getting a bit of a burn....tips usually means overfeeding I think..

you all rock the block! in a panic i forgot i am using an MH light (doah!) and i flushed alot of nutes. hope this ups my chances for a happy harvest. Best growing wishes. Bungholemadness!

try runnig your light schedule on 20 on 4 hours off i know there auto's but i had better results doing 20/4 give them a brief dark period, an on them auto's you should not need to switch to 12/12 unless there unstable an dont go into flower on there own also if you have mh use that until you see the first white pistol's which should be in about another 2 weeks then chuck in your hps bulb as soon as you see them pistols,i got a g-13 labs white russian going i finnished 2 onyx an 2 blue mystic both were about 18" tall when done an yielded 1 1-2 oz each ,the white russian i have is at the same age as yours an looks exactly the same size an everything allthough mine is in coco

also i allways count the first 2 weeks as seedling stage then after that they go into vegative state you will see them grow big now other the next 2 weeks watch how fast they grow but deffinnatly do you light schedule on 20 on 4 off they will thank you in the end

yes mate keep the same light schedule all the way through no need to change if you wanted you could keep the mh all the way through but i personally think once you see them pistols start comming through swap out for the hps bulb give your ladies differant range of spectrum colours , yes that is what i did kept on 20/4 feed as you would mean to i would not worry too much about the tips of the leaves it it stays at the tips you are where the ladies can handle what they got an all they can eat if the burn starts to procede further down the leaf add abit of ph'd water to your system to dilute a tadge, other than that they look to me where they should be dont panic an stress out just watch them over the next few days an see how they grow as i said for the first 2 weeks from seed i call it seedling stage an do not really grow that much if they are 14 days old now over the next week-10 days you will see growth rate really pick up peace my friend

ya bro, they look fine, when they're small you see some little 'burned' edges and sht, which could be from too much nutes but they look fine.. just use very little nutes, even less than half what it callsat first for such youngsters, always correct your ph..

supposedly the best light cycle is T5 - MH - HPS.. veg with T5 till about 12-15" tall, then hit with MH till you're ready to flip.. then HPS for flower. but ya, if you don't grow them that big before you flip, then just do like i do, and go from T5 to HPS..

you want a blue light for veg and red for flower. and obviously, the more lumens the better!

Thanks Truth B. I did start one, sorry I didnt post. did week 1 journal tomorrow week 2. dumb lil moves like not treating rockwell before adding seed & the worst 1, remembering seed side towards the sky...talk about a newbie
