theres one or two strains that are called Durban poison that are Sativa dominant hybrids, so it really depends on where you got the seeds from.
if it IS a pure sativa, and you dont have the 6-7 feet for the plant to stretch out on you, i would seriously think about topping your plant at least twice, to keep the height down to about 3-4 ft including your grow medium. As far as veg time goes, from the moment theplant moves past seedling stage, and gets transplanted into its final growing spot, i would give them 3 1/2 to 4 weeks veg, IF that, and then throw into flower. Or, since giving a specific amount of time is alot of the time innacurate, just grow your plants out to about 11-12 inches tall (after youve topped twice), and when you flower theyll kick theyre stretch into high gear, and like i said, youll probably hit close to 4 ft tall even after the topping. This will still give you massive buds because the plant is so big, but it will also give you a shitload of smaller nuggets, because youve allowed the plant to become a bush rather than a spear.
Durban poison has a grower difficulty level of easy, theyre pretty easy plants to take care of, and to grow, with minimal worry of mould buildup, or nutrient burn, or even deficiencies, as long as you know what your doin with your watering can/hydroponics system. I say go balls out man, and get the fattest, bushiest durban you can. The one Big ass donkey dick colas are nice n all, but spacewise, topping a sativa can be the best idea you ever had man. Plus theyll look fuckin gorgeous with all those tops once they start heavy flowering man
