Hi guys , I've been posting about this problem for a about a week now! I'm stumped at what it could be?
My plants were nice and green /growing fine with roots shooting out every where until I opened up the res and saw that a few roots had a little brown forming and also had a slight smell of fish tank to the net pot?
I did make a diy drip feed for the first couple weeks 'keeping the waterline upto the bottom of the netpot until I started seeing roots out the bottom then I stopped the drip feed and dropped the water line 1" below like most growers state to do.
I did a res change , filled with fresh water and added h202 , let it run for a couple hours then added 400ppm of nuts ph to 5.6 and left them to do there thing.
The very next morning droopy plants?
4 days later there still the same?
Plants look nice and gereen but droopy as if they have been over/under watereed?
Water temp :18c to 22c
Room temp : 23c to 26c
Humidity 20% to 30%
Ph 5.6 to 5.8
Ppm 350 to 500
res water line 65litres of a 70litre tank 1/2" to 1" below the net pot
32 litres of air from 3x airpumps with 2x ceramic 4" airstones 2x 2" ceramic airstones and 2x golfballs
I have a chiller hooked up constantly string up the bottom of the res to stop salt build up.
PICTURES
BEFORE THE RES CHANGE WHEN I SMELLED A SLIGHTLY FISHY TANK
AFTER RES CHANGE
ROOTS AND WATERLINE
I have ordered a HUMIDIFIER to help with the low humidity but I'm at a stand still with this problem?
Any help would be great?
I've tried the ph and it is fine at 5.8 I gave changed the res and added new nutrients with a dose of h202 for disease control and that's it , NO calmag no addatives just h202 & nutes
Any information Please just ask
Thame you guys
