DWC Nutes

Just finished my DWC grow and can't wait to start the next!

I used Fox Farm's full line. Plants loved the stuff, but i found it messy for DWC use - Big Bloom is like sewage, lol

So I'm thinking to switching to synthetics such as General Hydroponics Flora Series. I was wondering who uses them for DWC and how your experience was. Thanks!!

RezDog's Recipe of FloraMicro 6ml and FloraBloom 9ml per gallon of H2O.
Hit with KoolBloom powder during Bloom days 15, 29 and 36.
Flushing with -50ppm water from days 52 - 63.
No FloraGrow.
The combo of the other 2 provide enough Nitrogen.
Suppliment w/ CalMag if using R/O water.
Keep the nute ratio of 6:9 the same, even in seedling stage.
I.E. : 6 : 9 / 3 : 4.5 / 1.5 : 2.25

Cool thanks for the input Flo Grow...I'll check it out


Right now though since I have Fox Farm's full lineup, I want to continue using Fox Farm but just want to replace the organic Big Bloom (0.01-0.3-0.7) with a synthetic. Any advise would be great, thanks!!

I started out with Fox Farm and I just recently switched to Advanced. I've gotten amazing results with FF, and so far I am very impressed with the Advanced Hydro line.

Just remember to rinse out the mesh bucket lid with ph'd water, couldn't hurt to clean the hydroton after switching nutes.

im about to switch over to foxfarm


is it going to clog my pumps or something??
i have had success with pure blend pro
and maxigro maxibloom before tho

I would highly recommend a Filter Bag if your using FF. The trace minerals, and sediment will wreck your pump if you don't have one.
Not only that, but FF tends to deposit slime on your air stones, and plumbing. (harmless to your plant, but icky to clean)

^ seriously thats disappointing
i went with fox farm so i could use it with my soil as well as hydro

might have to resort to my 2 year old maxigro nutes then

ff great but messy in hydro:sad:........ organics are very messy in hydro but will work..... i go with Adv Nutes in my dwc, more expensive but much less maintanence:clap:.....im lazy so:-o.....

+1 switched from foxfarms about 3 weeks in veg state and my babies are loving the "rez" receipe.
