DWC Scrog Help and Tips?

Im doing 6 plants in an 18 gallon DWC res and would like to scrog them but im apprehensive and confused about how to do res changes.

Typically i swap reservoirs ever 2 weeks or so mixing up a fresh batch on nutes and taking the old one to wash before reusing it. Its pretty easy just to lift your whole lid and sit it back down in the new res this way. if i scrog and wave all the plants thru a screen tho idk how it can be moved to change the res.

I have come up with a few options:

1) Just top off the res thru flower and never do a total swap.
2) Make the screen movable also and get help to hold it up while i swap the res.
3) raise the whole thing 3 feet off the ground with a removable bottom and attach the lid to the screen to hold it in place. remove the false floor and drop the res down and lift the new on into place and replace the floor.


any tips or ideas on how to you do this or have seen others do DWC scrogs?

set it a foot up off the ground. put a threaded adapter through the lower side or even the bottom. attache a ball valve to it. this way you can open the valve and quick drain you rez into another tub or or put another adapter after the the ball valve that you can hook a garden hose up to. if you get the right fittings you can use this drain line as a fill line also.
