Early Misty Male and Female

So my early misty plants (2) one ended up being male and the other believed to be female is taking on similar characteristics.

Just have a quick question as I would like to salvage what I can.

I know males can't really be smoked, seeded females can but I would like to make hash, which I have the resources too. When do I harvest the male? same concept as with females?

I'm thinking just check the trichs on the leaves, seeing there are no buds to check.

P.S. I did search around but unfortunatly there really are no posts on Male Plants all too much.

i think that it would honestly be a waste of time, to turn a male into hash for there is a very small amount of THC. sorry man females create some bomb hash.
