My 1st two plants are clones that I saved from a dying outdoor grow. They have shown 2 pistils, at every node since they were 2 inches tall,( 2 weeks old.) They are definatly girls from the very beginning. Is this normal or what could have caused this? They are very bushy and have shown their sex from the beginning. I hope to send them into flowering mode tomorrow since they are about 12-15 inches tall and my hid light is keeping my closet temp at 86 degrees I,m hoping the 400 watt hps bulb will be a little coolertomatoes 037.jpg.tomatoes 041.jpgtomatoes 045.jpg

if they are clones then they are exact genetic match to the MOTHER plant they came from. take more clones you can keep the line going in purpetual bloom as clones once rooted can go straight to 12/12 flowering about the size you got now. Atleast thats what I gathered on this site.

^Exactly. If the original mother was started 3 years ago, for example, the clones would be 3 years of age, as well, and already sexually mature. That's why it's better to flower a clone early, than going 12/12 from seed. The clone is already an adult, even though it's small, whereas a seedling need 4-6 weeds to mature, and truly be ready for flowering. That's why you had preflowers, from the very beginning. :)
