Easy Individual scrog modules

step1....cut chicken wire or whatever stiff wire you want to use in this configuration with cutting pliers, cuts easily.



step 2....bend the top over like so..



step 3...slide the wire down in this fashion and bend the outer most pieces in and stab through pot for stability. Notice the middle wire is outside the pot and the adjacent ones are inside tensioning it in place



Now you can start from seed and still remove the males when they show sex.

...so do you just leave the plants on the 'rabbit wire' by themselves of could you attach more? Becuase I don't really see much use in having like 1 1/2 feet of wire above a plant

Yea this is just pretraining, it's my attempt to control the extra stretch that usually accompanies a grow from seed. Once you toss the males out, just add to or overlay more wire over the entire grow area and guide new growth into the new screen. This also gives me the option to transplant one more time in to a larger common container once the males are purged at the two week mark. Also when you remove the males you can remove them without it being tangled together in a common screen. I know its better to scrog from clone but I have to start from seed to get to that point in the first place.The plant will continue to grow into the added screen and merge together. In the mean time while the seed plants are finishing up their flowering cycle you can have taken clones for a mother in a simple rubber maid and be ready for the next cycles with clone. I know some prefer to take clones in veg and flower the clones to determine sex, but you would still have the same problem with not being able to use common screen till after sex is known. I'm sure that LST would work as well until after males are identified, but may be more work.
