Is this a good system for the price or should i just make one or use a drip system, i was also thinking about the stleth hydro systems.

just make a DWC system, they're the easiest to start. Just need a tupperware container and a water pump.

that is what i was thinking just going to wal mart and get all the stuff to make it for under 30$

exactly. after you've been successful with that, Then think about going up to Ebb or Aero or Drip systems
