Could i use Perlite instead of clay pellets in my tub?
well i figure three times aday once before the lights go on once in the middle of lights on and once at lights off. would that still work? No, I wouldn't recommend it. Perlite is good at providing aeration but holds little moisture. Unless you plan on watering many times a day, stick with the hydroton. Or check out coco, I was using coco in my ebb and gro bucket sysytem right before I switched to organics.
Your local hydro store will be the cheapest, or local gardening center etc... You can buy Hydroton online but a 50L bag weighs like 40-50 Lbs and is quite big, so shipping makes it pointless to buy online. Glad everyone steered you away from the pearlite thoughtfuck it hydroton it is any one know of a good deal on it?
What's it with you and mold prevention? Its been in a couple of your threads. Keep a clean room environment, and keep humidity between 40-60% and you'll have no mold. Temperature doesnt impact mold much, its that as temps go up, so does humidity naturally, hence the mold. Control the humidity and you'll be perfectly fine, I swear!and how do i prevent mold with hot temps
