Ebb N Grow Draining Issues

Yo,

Recently switched over to the monster ebb n grow setup for the bigger pots. Am having some real headaches with the controllers. Everything works great until the drain cycle. It seems like the controllers are having a hard time clicking over. Have 2 sets and it's happened on both so far. Fill cycle works fine, sits for 15 minutes, clicks over to drain and the drain pump never comes on. I believe this is a float valve/controller issue and am not sure if it's a common problem with this setup. The pumps are brand new and are NOT touching the float valves in any way. I've had to setup a separate timer to with the drain pump plugged into it to coincide with the drain cycle. This burns out pumps fast as fuck.

Any feedback from anyone with experience using this setup and having these issues would be appreciated. I know c.a.p doesn't make garbage products, but these headaches are really starting to make me judge.

this happened to my system once and all i did was unplug the pump from the controller and plug it straight to power to see if the pump or the controller took a shit, the pump kicked right on so i plugged it back into the controller and it kicked on lol never happened again, try unplugging the controller and plugging it back in when it happens and seed if it works hope this helps.

say, I'm about to order a ebb monster.......shall I? Sorry I couldn't answer your question but I'm certainly interested in the results because I don't want to buy a shitty system. I've noticed refurbished ebb monster controllers , I was thinking this was a fairly new item but dunno, if so then finding them refurbished on the market only means one thing to me, they had a lot of them returned .

uhh, cap DOES make garbage products for the most part....
a lot of nft-1 controllers will crap out... leaves a lot of these aero people PISSED.
the ebb&gro controllers dont have the best track record, either.

They got great prices, and their products ARE warrantied, but they are not of the highest quality.

yeah I took a cap cycle timer back because every time you set the timing different you had to reboot the goddamn thing but I have a cap co2/temp controller that works. I think I'm gonna buy the ebb monster even though theres been little feedback about the problem OP is/was having.
