Is there a such thing as too low EC? I mixed my nites based of a chart I found but the EC/ ppm is lower than recommended

But basically it would grow a little slower not necessarily a lack of nutes right?
it's hard to say what happens in a strictly rhetorical discussion. what's happening to your plant has surely alot of different influencing factors. but generally, if you go overboard and plant is in toxicity, its growth will be greatly stiffled for weeks, but if it is lacking something bc u feed a tad too low, then it can either try to mobilize some stuff on its own (not in waterculture) or use its depots.

and this guide should be able to answer all your questions. Plant nutrition is a somewhat multi-dimensional topic so there are no easy answers. The middle is, of course, what you seek, your best shot to aim for that is to look at your plant's leaves, and general status.
