Efficacy of Carbon Scrubber/Filter Systems

Hey everyone,

Do these scrubbers really reduce smell enough to exhaust out of a window or dryer vent in a condominium/apartment complex? This is really my final concern before making my gear purchase.

I've seen them range from 50 dollars and up, but was thinking about a 400cfm kit that appears to come with a iPower brand scrubber but you never know if they could be re-badged crap.

Yes carbon filters do work To remove smell if used properly.

In my experience they dont remove all the smell or atleast 1 doesnt.
Iv used them for every grow, Medium priced ones. (More expensive ones will be better obviously while cheaper ones worse)

Iv always vented from a tent into the room. And while I cant smell anything in that room. When I have mates over who dont smoke so arnt so use to the smell they say they can smell it in that room.
But they cant smell it outside which is the main thing.

A "good" carbon filter will do a great job of keeping the smell down. I also use ozone generators for the really stinky girls.
