Electric fence thread

I just wanted to hear what people had to say about doing something like getting one of those chargers that area made to electrically charge like a couple miles of fence and getting some metal garden fence the type thats like little 6x6 or 4x4 square holes in it and hooking it up to make it electrically active to shock intruders?

Keep in mind they sell these electrical fence charge things made for charging a mile of fence line for like livestock and shit lol and i would have it hooked up to like a 4x4 x4 x4 fence ?

heres information off a site advertising the electric fence thing-
2 Mile, UL Listed Fence Controller, Small & Inexpensive, Made For Short, Weed Free Fences, Ideal For Small Animals & Short Haired Livestock, Produces Approximately 1,000V On 1 Mile Of Fence, Most Effective When Used On Fences Made With Conventional Steel Or Aluminum Wire. Use On Very Short Runs Of Poly Wire, Tape Or Rope Fence Wire.

now heres a pic of the fencing i am interested in using but if it wont work i could just wrap wire to make a fence right?

You might want to get like a dog electric fence.... which is wire.... you can put it at the top of your fence so if the intruder hops tries to hop the fence he gets shocked... and this kind of electric fence does hurt... Had to test it out when we put it in for my buddy...
you can even put it around the bottom of the fence to maybe even trip the intruder...

The problem is that a regular fence is already grounded(being as it's posted into the ground), the wire at the top of an electric fence is not. You complete the circuit to ground when you touch/urinate on an electric fence. So, that won't work...
