Electricity Bill Question???

hello all,

i plan on running this setup and im just curious how drastic my light bill will change.


veg room- 2x bad boy t5 fluorescents 8 bulbs(will be running 18/6)
4x4 ebb & flow tray (not sure how big the pump will be)

flowering- 2x 600watt hps lamps (will be running these 12/12)
ebb&gro 18 pot


also add in a few odds and ends(fans,....etc.)


Just looking for a rough estimate any information will be greatly appreciated

1. go to your utility website and get your price per kwh. typically around ten cents per kwh

2. add up take all the wattages of all of your equipment and multiply each by the amount of time they are on during a 24 hour period.

3. divide number 2 by 1,000 and multiply by number 1 and you have your cost per day.

less than a new hot tub or cranking up the
a/c 5 degrees

Just to give you a ruff estimate to run my 400w HID and fans etc. cost me about $18 a month, now my rate per kwh is high it is 18cent per kw. It is actually very easy to figure out how much it will cost and is pretty accurate.

during the times i grow i am the miser of lights and who is watching this tv , they all get shut off
