electricity question

its a yard buster bulb. Replacement for a mercury vapor. its a 65 watt. Would a voltage converter do the trick? it works with 120, but i think it would be alot brighter with 240. its supposed to have 6825 brightness lumens and 4500 photopic lummens (whats the difference?).

I doubt it needs 240 volts to operate, it does need a ballast. Since it has a mogul base you will have to buy the fixture it goes into. I have one outside my work shop. Puts out a lot of light. Unfortunetly its not the right kind of light for growing. They do have bulbs like it that are good for growing. Research. VV
