I know of the subject, the concept that every living thing runs on electricity in some way, by putting the plant in an amplified field it should be able to do its work faster... meaning grow faster.
These experiments were done way back in the 70s or 80s and failed horribly due to electronics being far too inferior and not sensitive enough to control this infinite small amount of electricity.

I believe in about 20 years when we have sensitive enough electronics we might be able to experiment with electrifying plants. But for now it's a real hit and miss with using energy to manipulate plants.

yea i'm a fan of the research on how electricity stimulates plant growth
neg ion generators are pretty cool
we had a thread on here a few weeks back about photovoltaic root stimulation
literally applying small electrical current to the soil to stimulate the plant growin, check it out let me know what you think
