Anyone ever tried an experiment like in this free pdf book: Internet Archive: Details: Growing crops & plants by electricity. Explaining what has been done on a practical scale

I added a negative ion gen. to a garden that was dying, and the next day there was a lot of new growth... Skeptical? Try it, neg. ions are really beneficial and can increase the size and growth of buds, especially when combined with CO2.

I know of the subject, the concept that every living thing runs on electricity in some way, by putting the plant in an amplified field it should be able to do its work faster... meaning grow faster.
These experiments were done way back in the 70s or 80s and failed horribly due to electronics being far too inferior and not sensitive enough to control this infinite small amount of electricity.

I believe in about 20 years when we have sensitive enough electronics we might be able to experiment with electrifying plants. But for now it's a real hit and miss with using energy to manipulate plants.
