Hey guys,
Check out this pic of the end of my pistils. Anyone ever seen this or know whats going on? It has been really hot in the room (up to 86 for short periods of time). You can see from the rest of the plants that the rest are ok. could this be from the heat?

thanks

Mine did that..... It was heat stress...... Do you have ventilation.... Are you growing in a box, or closet? The aluminum will reflect as much heat as it does light.... It is also normal for the pistils to turn brown around 5 weeks in, but it would be uniform. If the top half of the pistol is brown it is heat related. (In my experiance, could be wrong)

OK, im not surprised it is heat stress as that is what i expected with the current heat wave. Its a 1.5' deep, 3.5' tall, 4' wide box. Currently it only has fans with the from side open for ventilation, however my 60 CFM fan with carbon filter is in the mail, and I already cut an intake hole. as soon as it gets here there wont be aheat problem any more.

When your plants did it, was there any permament damage done? did the buds that were damaged do worse in the end?

THanks

My temp is all over the place. Im spiking from 60 to 105!!! I havent seen any damage like this before except when the developing bud was accidetally in contact with a bulb. It looks a little frazzled but im sure will survive.

Thanks DrJones. It is really only that bud a maybe a few other random pistils other places, so i think she will be fine! especially when my fan comes!
