Energy consumption

Hey all I am not sure if this is the right place for this post but I have a few questions. I am recently starting indoor growing and it's nothing big as of yet, just 1-2 maybe 3 plants but my first question is how much does it take for the electric company to notice a large spike and be suspicious? will 3 lamps running 12 hours a day on top of everyday electrical activites even be noticed? and Also when the time comes that I will be running more plants with more lights, are there any ways you can get around the electric company noticing it? Like deceiving them in some way..tell em you got some new gadget that requires alot of electricity or like you have a few reptiles that need heat lamps..or would that just get their attention on you even more?

Tell them you're charging up your spaceship.

3 plants @ lets say 600W.

Your computer system uses more power than that.

A space heater is over 1,000W

Wouldn't think it would be a problem even if you double your bill. They are in the business of selling electricity, does anyone know of the electric company contacting anyone to ask why their bill went up?
