So basically we cant/wont advance because we would have to change the entire infastructure of cars, machines, power plants...the list goes on...

They will sell it to the Japaneses or the Chinese, once they realize they can't make a weapon out it, that won't kill everyone on earth
who will then turn it to silly thing like powering garden lights or fridge freezers in cars ...lol
