English ivy

Anybody willing to lend some knowledge ..this English ivy is browning and I’m just wondering what possible causes could be

too wet? what kind of soil, they like it loamy. I never had much luck with them indoors.

We do amazing with the pothos same soil I don’t get it

This was a three dollar Walmart plant three leaves when we got it

Watering habits or the soil. I don't know about you but it's significantly cooler in the room where the majority of my houseplants are this time of year. I water much less and let the soil stay much dryer than I do when they're in warmer temperatures. Cooler temps and wet soil are common problems with many houseplants in the winter months.

Not a bad plant indoors but outside it takes over. It's classified as an invasive species here in Portland and other parts of Oregon. I still pull up that stuff as some is growing in the very back corner of my yard. It's coming from the neighbor on the other side of the fence. I wish they'd rip out what's on their side of the fence. That stuff will strangle my Arborvitae to death if left unchecked.
