Greeting farmers
I am growing 3 plants, currently just babygirls, in a 4x4 tent with 3 bestva 2000 which has 160 actual pulling watts from wall.My question: Will this be sufficient enough to carry through the entire grow and harvest. I'm growing in soil in 5 gal buckets. Thanks

You sure they're only 160w a piece?
I'm seeing them listed at 200w some places.

Is it enough, probably underpowered to get the best out of your space.

It's also difficult to say just what you'd need with those lights.. but I'm guessing 4 of them.

Edit, I'd imagine, they'd veg really well but you won't get the density in the final buds.

That doesn't mean you won't get some lovely flower at the end

Do you think I could add one more girl to the mix? Are will four be to many for a 4x4. 3 are purple widow and I plan on putting them in the 4x4 with the 3 160w lights. The other is a Stardawg that I had planned on putting in a 31”x31” under another bestva 2000 but this one spec says 200w actual power. I think maybe all light in one tent might generate to much heat causing problems with my grow. Any thoughts and opinions will be greatly appreciated.

To best light up a 4 x 4 area, and what would be considered the upper target for light application, to maximize your grow space.

One needs about 40w sq/ft, to equal HID. Hortilux HPS, is 62.5w sq/ft, and would be considered the upper limit needed for a 4 x 4 area.

You would need about 640w-680w LED light. A good light.

If your current lights are 160w, you would need about 4 of them, though, I do not know the specifics of said light.

Perhaps.

There are a few "best VA 2000" lights. Can you post the exact model number or, perhaps, a link to a web page?

The reason I'm asking is that the lights that have that basic description are quite different.

One other thing to consider. More light fixtures = more heat. If possible try to settle on 1 light fixture. It makes maintaining your environment much easier. Just my $0.02 worth.
