I've never read anything on Epsom foliar spray. You're better off using it in the growing medium. And garden lime can contain Mg so check into that. 1 tbs Garden Lime (dolomite) per 1 gallon soil medium. And it's hard to burn plants with lime. Ever see lime sprinkled in large quantities on baseball fields? It takes a large amount to burn the grass. Dolomite lime neutralizes the medium.

dilute in water first

then use the diluted eposom salt and measure ppms accordingly

ph to 6.5

then foliar away .

if you have no ppm meter use 1 tea spoon a gallon and wait for it to properly dissolve before ph'ing

You can spray Epsom in a foliar spray. I remember reading it somewhere. And Mg is absorbed through the leaves. You can aso add a tsp of dolo lime as a top dressing and water it in. Then you get your Ca and your Mg

hey jugbag, it sounds like you bought epsom that was specifically for plants, i'm just curious if it cost more then epsom from a drug store. what ya pay, for what amount, if you don't mind me asking? if ya got burnt a little, others will know not to buy it.

The lime i hav is small pellet like balls. I cant realy get a Tbs :/
You have the wrong lime, and is useless for your purpose. Coarse dolomite can take a year to break down. You could have used fine dolomite when you mixed your soil, but now you need hydrated lime which is fast acting and water soluble. The drawback to hydrated lime is that contains no magnesium, where the hydrated does, but you are using salts so it will not matter. You just mix with warm water and away you go. Use about every 2 weeks, as that is how long it stay's in the soil. Peace
