eruption of stigmas late flower - autoflower.

UK cheese autoflower. I harvested the majority of this plant weeks ago. My target was cloudy with few amber trichomes. The lower buds looked like they could go for another week or two so I left them. I was going to let them stay until 50% amber or so for just those times.

Looking at them today, they don't seem anywhere more mature, in fact, they appear to be packing on growth? The trichomes are coming along - still not amber but look at those bursting stigmas.

Is this a thing that happens?

Yeah those have a few weeks to go it looks like.

they really fill out at the end, I harvested a couple branches at 8 weeks and the buds were much lighter than at 11 weeks.

Wait for the pistils to all go brown/orange before checking the trichomes.
