Ever have to make a splint?

A couple of my plants got clobbered by high winds yesterday, 2 stalks were snapped but not torn, the only materials that I can think of to make a splint are like a popsicle stick with gauze wrapped to allow it to breathe, any other suggestions? TIA

Sticks and electrical or duct tape should work fine.

Prop it up the best you can , it's a weed . This one took a header perfectly up-side down ending in a three way split to the surface of the medium 5 weeks into flower . After I doctored her up , she didn't skip a beat .

The handle on plastic shopping bags works...

Just remove it once healed.
