Exhaust set up

hi

i'm currently trying to get my exhaust system straightened out, and need some advice. I'm going to have a coolable reflector, and then the air that it takes in will be pushed through a carbon scrubber. My question is.. what would be more effective:

(LIGHT)======={FAN}========{SCRUBBER}===ex.

or

(LIGHT)=========={SCRUBBER}====={FAN}===ex.

I'm thinking the first idea, but i'm not really sure why.. what do you think? It's not a vortex fan, its an in-line duct fan (not a booster) 8" diameter, if that makes any difference.. rated for 500 cfm, but obviously thats without all the added resistance.. thanks

:peace:

i want to use a bake-around style thing, but might just use a borosilicate plate and build a hood-type reflector.. good idea too, thanks.. is there any reason you hink thats the best idea though?

maybe i got confused, let me explain it...

i use a DIY carbon filter that has a 4'' outlet flang then i connect it to duct then i have a 105cfm fan that pulls air through into the filter past the fan into the other end then more duciting attached to my cool tube and blowing through the tube into anther short peice of cuting to vent outside the cab... get it..lol..

direction of air movement-->>>>>>>
scruber==>=>=>==fan==>=>=>==cooltube==>=>=>==exhaust--->>>>>>>

because the way u set it up was saying the fan will pull air through the light when the light is a cooltube that eeds to connect to outer vent...
the scrubber is use to clean the air, and u said...light fan scrubber?
that would basically mean ur cleaning the air u pull from outside... no need man, gotta go from scrubber to the fan thats pulling air from the scrubber, then to the light which now is pushing the air throught the cooltube and out to and exhaust!!!!

Hey guys,i am a little confused. Are you talking about taking hot air from room cooling it down putting it through an odor killing device and then expelling the air outdoors? i hope so, cause thats what i need to do,any suggestions?
