ive a new loft build, addicted to makin new ones or moving house im not sure which,
i have 8x8ft and have a 480wled and a 600whps in a coolshade, i manage that well normaly,
im wondering as i only have 2 vents in my roof eves where i removed the mesh to allow air to blow out, they are 5inch, i have put a 6inch pipe on both and a Y split to 8inch as i use RVK 8inch l1 fan for extraction
passive intake from a 10inch intake, its a solid kingpsan room,
my question is i have 10inch intake, and 2x5inch outtake in the eves, with my 8inch l1 fan,
will that be good preassure ? it has no tent walls to watch suck in,or push out and has no way for me to go on the roof and check the vents are venting properly,
i just want to know that the math adds up for intake to outtake i know there is a rule to follow somwhere,
area of a 5" circle is
2.5*2.5*3.14== 19.625"2
area of an 8" circle 4*4*3.14== 50.24"2
two 5" fans have less area than 1 8" but they wil be on fan controller and also pushing through that
intake i was always told to double it 10inch should do as i use 2 6inch currently in a tent fine with a bigger fan
